In this paper, we study the periodic solutions of the rational difference system xn+1 = βyn−2 −β − yn−2xn−1yn , yn+1 = βxn−2 −β − xn−2yn−1xn , zn+1 = βxn−2 + βyn−2 −β − xn−2yn−1xn , n = 0, 1, ..., where β 6= 0 and the initial conditions are arbitrary real numbers.
