Cardiac sympathetic denervation (CSD), also referred to as the left thoracicsympathectomy, is a new treatment option for the management of recurrent ventricular arrhythmia (VA) in patients with VT storm and ICD shocks, in whom ablation and medications have not produced expected results. While effects of CSD in patients with long QT syndrome and catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia have been well described, data regarding its use in other cardiac conditions is scarce.
